Strategic thinking skills and an innate understanding of sound business principles. That's precisely what Tess Oliver brings to the MetaSystems team. As managing partner and practice administrator, Tess oversees all firm operations and the delivery of client services. Working double-duty as Eric's partner in business and in life since 1992, Tess manages all client business communication including contract negotiations, defining expectations and overseeing the fulfillment of firm services, streamlining the channels of communication between clients and consultants.
Though she is responsible for the cumulative details that add up to great client service, Tess also looks at the big picture: helping MetaSystems grow and adjust to the evolving needs of legal professionals. A graduate of Syracuse University, Tess received a BS in Social Work and has completed the course work for an MA in Business. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. A good case is only as strong as its presentation. And more often than not, it's the visual imagery that gets the message across. A good demonstrative points to, summarizes or illustrates the central point of a particular part of your case story, be it data, a series of events, relationships or research.
When our clients need to communicate complex information to decision makers, we turn to our partners at Next Step Law Design. Working closely with the case consultant, Amy Lynch and her team review the key points and determine how to effectively portray this information to listeners who will make decisions based on what they see, in addition to what they hear.
Whether working on-site or via the Web, our integrated team approach delivers compelling graphics quickly and efficiently. By teaming with hand-in-hand with Next Step Law Design, MetaSystems covers all facets of courtroom exhibits, including flow charts, timelines, demonstrative graphics, image enlargements and key point callouts.
Telling the story is one thing. Understanding what shapes – and is shaped by – human communication is another. That's why focus groups are such a critical aspect in case story development. A professional focus group with living, breathing, story-building people is the logical place to discover the full range of potential influences.
When a location-specific study with local area study participants is needed, we turn to our partners at FocusAnywhere. Formed in 1999 by research professionals Dan Lee and Dan Jarrett, the opinion research firm specializes in any size venue, small or large, anywhere in the United States. Working with FocusAnywhere, MetaSystems is able to provide high-quality interviewing, screening and recruiting of specific types of participants, integrating strategy with specific research requirements.
